Classrooms at John Dewey School are well equipped. “A home away from home” environment is provided. The seating arrangement is designed in a systematic way so that the organizations of the seats help the students to feel comfortable. Well-arranged classroom settings reflect the following attributes, clearly defined spaces within the classroom settings reflect the following attributes, clearly defined spaces within the classroom that are used for different purposes which ensure that students know how to behave in each of these areas.
LIBRARY
The School has a well stocked library cater to the needs of students as well as its staff members.The library has vast collection of books, related to various subjects such as English, Maths, Accountancy, Economics, Commerce and Business studies, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computers, GK, EVS, Moral Science, General Science, History Civics, Geography, Social Studies, etc. The library will also provide online reading and photo coping facilities. Library has total collection of 18 magazines related to GK, Science, Current Events and Kids World. Library also has a collection 7 daily national newspapers of various languages.
PHYSICS LAB
Physics Lab is just like a scientific workshop for conducting various experiments and activities. It is equipped with all modern apparatus and facilities. The Laboratory reinforces the knowledge acquired in the theory class by emphasizing on the fundamental concepts of physics. It aids the students understanding of using lab equipment’s. Moreover, it makes them realize the importance of direct observation as compared to inference based on theory
BIOLOGY LAB
Biology lab imparts parctical tarining to the students with the help of experienced faculty members. Students get training in section cutting of plant parts like root, stem, leaves etc , parts of flower analysis, slide observation, slide prepration, disection etc
CHEMISTRY LAB
Chemistry Laboratory provides a platform for students to nurture the budding scientist within them. It encourages the students to take part actively in the process of learning by doing. Our ultimate aim is to make the students excel in the field of Chemistry.
COMPUTER LAB
A fully air conditioned and networked Computer Lab using server client technology, equiped with latest high configured Dell Pc’s and LCD monitors. Lab is also equiped with Projector which is used for demo purpose. Online as well as Internal exam are conducted with the help of computer Lab
